Hello everyone! My name is Courtney Wagner and I am the new Program Lead, Volunteers in the Office of Alumni Relations. 

A bit about me: I am coming to you from the Faculty of Law, where I worked as a student recruiter for the last six years. Prior to that, I was living in Hokkaido, Japan, teaching English as part of an Alberta sister city program. I loved living in Japan and am looking forward to planning a trip after the pandemic to visit my friends and former students (and eating as much Japanese food as I can). My first degree at the U of A was a BA in East Asian studies, and I am in the process of finishing up my MA in Communications and Technology. 

My favourite place on campus is HUB mall, which is where I spent most of my study time due to its close proximity to Rutherford library and also to delicious snacks.
