The University of Alberta Debate Society is the oldest university debating society in Western Canada, and the oldest student group on the U of A campus. It was founded over a century ago by members of the university’s first class in 1908.
This is the alumni chapter for the U of A Debate Society.
Campus Chapters do great things! They hold educational, professional development and social events for alumni. They support our students with fun events and raise funds for scholarships and bursaries. They contribute to campus and create an exceptional community of engaged and giving alumni who believe in the value of their education.
