WiSER's first event of the series will cover Introduction to Data Science and an Overview of Python. This series is introductory and attendees do not require background or prior experience in the Data Science field.
In the online workshop, you will learn about data science as a career option, product life cycle in a company, and gain information on various roles in the field from an Industry Professional. The second part of the session will focus on Basics of Python, including a demo and a case study.
Enverus will cover a case study applying data science technology. It would be beneficial if you could run the script and workflow together with the speakers during the session on your own desktop or laptop. All you need is the Internet and Google Chrome. We will leverage Google Colabotary and send over the prepared python script a few days prior to the session.
We will have Q&A periods throughout the session and breaks to stretch those muscles and grab a coffee!
