As a member of the KSRAA board, we will work together to:
- Provide opportunities for alumni to engage with each other and to the Faculty of KSR
- Promote and celebrate members of the KSR/PER community
- Build ties with organizations relevant to the KSR/PER community
- Connect current and future KSR/PER alumni with career resources and support
The KSRAA executive team meets four to five times from September to April for an evening meeting (usually virtual). Each volunteer also sits on two or three event planning committees.
We generally plan three to four events per year: a golf tournament in June, an event in September that coincides with U of A Days, and two to three other events our creative team comes up with.
As a chapter board member, you will also be part of the Campus Chapters Program supported through the Office of Alumni Relations. They provide many opportunities for professional development and networking, as well as fun volunteer socials throughout the year.
You would be committing to a two-year term (October 2023 - December 2025) with the option to renew for another two-year term.
