Description

Join the Vancouver Alumni Chapter and Nature Vancouver to assist with a citizen science project at Burnaby Lake Regional Park. As part of the City Nature Challenge 2024, we will spend our time exploring the shoreline and trails, making observations of nature and documenting our discoveries - spotting ducks, shorebirds, songbirds, plants, butterflies, and potentially amphibians along the way!

The data collected through our observations will assist in understanding the biodiversity of the region, and will benefit researchers, policy makers, environmentalists, and teachers. This is a great opportunity to enjoy being in nature and contribute meaningfully to the understanding of the biodiversity of the region - all in a friendly group setting!

This opportunity will take place in the VANCOUVER AREA.

Please Click "RESPOND" to Register for this opportunity. Limited spots available! More details will be sent to you closer to the date.

If you are registering more than one person, please click "Respond as a Team", then "reserve additional spots" with how many members of your group there are.
